DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Physiotherapist at Balwyn Sports and Physiotherapy Centre, you will be responsible for:
Performing comprehensive clinical assessments, with an emphasis on clinical reasoning, getting to a diagnosis and mapping out a defined treatment plan. The very essence of clinical excellence.
Diagnosing and treating various physical conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and both acute +chronic injury management.
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, considering both short-term and long-term physical health goals.
Providing a full range of physiotherapy services, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises and patient education on self-care practices.
Educating patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and the importance of ongoing physical wellness. Making the patients better than they were, before they arrived.
Collaborating and working as part of our team of Myotherapists, Podiatrists and others to get the best outcome for the patient.
Staying current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and continuing education opportunities to provide the best care possible.

Manual therapy: we are strongly focused on the art and science of manual therapy. We teach and practice advanced manual therapy, like MWM's and manipulations. If you feel education and exercise are all you need for Physio success, this is not the practice for you, BUT if you felt you did not get enough hands on training at University ..... THIS is where you will find that.
